Answers:
MD is a doctor!.

CNM is Certified Nurse-Midwife who is an advanced practice nurse who has specialized in the practice of obstetrical and gynecological care of relatively healthy women!. Most nurse-midwives have a Master of Science in Nursing in addition to being a Registered Nurse!.

APRN is Advanced Practice Registered Nurse!.

MD is usually on call to attend to complications!.

MD is a Dr!.!.!.!.!.ARNP is a nurse practitioner and she will not be delivering your baby!.!.!.!.!.CNM is certified nurse mid-wife and she can deliver babies, but she is usually under direct supervision of the Dr in case there is an emergency, she only does vaginal deliveries!. The MD's are the only actual doctors!. The CNM is a mid-wife who is fully capable of delivering children and is certified to do so, but if complications arise or a c-section is mandated, the MD on-call will perform such procedures!. All are able to perform normal vaginal births, and are trained extensively for just that!. No worries!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
