maybe!. he might use a cleaning solube to get into the places that are touching your eardrum that is unsafe for you to touch with a q-tip!. or, you could buy your own solube at a drug store thats made for ridding or earwax!. its simple and it works!. good luck, i guess!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Q_tips ? (cotton swabs) are designed to clean the outer rim of the ear; NOT the canal!. read the warnings and precautions on the label!. Using a cotton swab pushes the wax more into the ear!.

i had my ears cleaned out by a doctor and it really did help! they like flush water in your ear with a tube and a lot of wax comes it aha its kinda gross but it feels good after cause your ears are completley clean!.
also, try to rarely use q-tips! they're really bad for your ears and are only pushing back the wax, not cleaning it outWww@Answer-Health@Com

Getting your ears cleaned does make you hear better!. q-tips are really dangerous for your ears, cause all your doing is pushing the wax further back!. The ear ,nose & throat doctor always says anything smaller than your elbow should not go in your ear!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
