In NYS most pharmacy records are held for 5 years!. That's for filled and received prescriptions!. If you mean for a prescription you just brought in, it will vary from pharmacy to pharmacy, but most places will be from a few days to 2 weeks!. But please don't leave your prescription there for days on end and not pick it up!. Pick it up as soon as possible or call and advise the pharmacy of your intent!.
