Question: Would you ride in one of those electric shopping carts for the handicapped if!?
you were on crutches & couldn't walk!. I'm thinking about ridding in one because I don't think I can walk up & down all the isles, but not sure if they will let me or if I will be too embarrassed!. Would you!? My husband is out of town & none of my sisters are home & I really need some things from the store!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A disability is a disability whether it is permanent or temporary!. I don't use yet and should have began more than a year ago but seem to prefer due to false pride, leaning on a cart and taking twice as long getting through the store!. No one is going to take a survey or ask you to produce papers at checkout!. Your hesitance is about imagined visibility, but you are almost as anonymous at a supermarket as you are on line!. Of course they'd let you!. They aren't just for the elderly, anyone with difficulties walking is allowed to use them- that means someone with crutches too!. I would definitely use it myself if I were having a hard time getting around the store!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If I went grocery shopping alone I used the electric cart mainly to carry my purchases!. If a friend was with me, he or she pushed a cart and I grabbed items from the shelf as i walked on my crutches!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
yea, they will let you!. I wouldnt feel comfortable using one(i use crutches too) but then again i have my hubby to help me so just go do what ya gotta do :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
