Question: Why is my stomach hard!?
i was a day late with my period, now 4 days later ive had really bad pains and my stomach is rock solid!. ive looked on the net and so far all ive cone up with is it could be IBS or pregnancy, please help!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are worried about being pregnant, get a test asap so that eliminates that question!. If you are having sex, it could be possible!. I doubt you would be feeling pregnant that soon!. I also doubt IBS, again if it remains for another 5 days + or other severe symptoms happen go to your Dr!. Honestly, it sounds like it is a Symptom of "That time"!. I deal with clients a lot who have a similar problem!. If you are late, it seems the symptoms almost get worse as each day passes!. The women I see complain of gas- could be the reason your stomach is so hard, also explains the pains!. If it is building up, the pains will get worse!. If your stomach is rock hard, with tremendous pain, perhaps nausea or vomiting, you may have a bowel obstruction!. If you aren't constipated and do not have any bowel movements soon, get to a hospital or your doc for evaluation!.

could be constipation or you have been eating a food which causes reaction, usually stuff with yeast can do that
