What would cause a sunburn like rash?!
Question: What would cause a sunburn like rash!?
On my chest, upper back, and arms, it looks as though I have a sunburn!.!. The skin is totally smooth, doesn't itch, and looks almost like a tan from a tank top!. Thing is, I haven't been out in the sun for a few weeks really!.!. I haven't changed anything about my routine (ie soaps, jewelry, detergent) except for new medicines!. I just got put on prednisone (high dose), topamax, imitrex, and atenolol!. (I have a whole cocktail of problems!.!.)
What could give me this rash!? I don't think I have a fever either!.!. Hmmmm!.!.!. Thanks in advance!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's most likely your medications, especially because you're on so many!. I've been put on only Lamictal, and it gave me a rash!. It's usually just your body trying to adjust to the new medications, but it can sometimes get very serious!. You should call your doctor!.
I've read that TSS (Toxic Shock Syndrome), which is usually associated with tampon use, can give you a sunburn-like rash!. But TSS also tends to include a fever and dizziness and such, and it's extremely rare, so it's probably not the case!. No harm in mentioning it, though!.
