I think that it depends on each person's body!.

For me, a hot shower helps with soreness (back, cramps, etc), the combination of the heat and pulse of the water on my back works wonders!.

For your cramps, have you tried Pamprin or Midol!? They don't work for me, but they might for you!.

Stay away from things with caffeine (chocolate, tea, soda, coffee) because that can make cramps worse!. They say to drink lots of water (which I see you do =] )!.

Get plenty of rest at night, that may help with irritability!. It will also keep you from being so sluggish during the day!.

Hope I helped!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Midol or Pamprin might be a better choice for your cramps than Tylenol!. It's suppose to be better for menstrual cramps!.

Other things you might try if you haven't already are, a heating pad on your belly for about 10-15 minutes, a warm bath, avoid foods that would normally cause gas and bloating and avoid spicy foods as well!.

It may be that the hot peppers contributed to your cramps as some people stomaches are sensitive to certain foods at different times!. They can certainly irritate the lining of your stomach and cause diarrhea and cramping!.

If it is common for you to have severe cramps during your menstrual cycle, I would certainly demand that your doctor do something more or switch doctors!. There is no reason you should live with cramps that bad!. It is possible they would place you on birth control pills as that helps with cramps for some people!.

It also helps to keep a healthy diet with plenty of fresh fruits and veggies!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
