Okay, you can breathe because chances are your son is just fine, and will be just fine!. Gross I know, but fortunately not anything deadly!. The reason for the black was probably mold from dampness or residual medicine in the droppers and such!. That attracted critters!. Not having seen them, I can't identify them for you, but you didn't give your son anything!. As long as he's otherwise healthy, I think you can relax a bit!. At his age, that's not the worst thing that will likely end up in his mouth anyway!. Some things you just don't want to know or have confirmed!. Just clean up everything else!. In the future, when you have medicine droppers and such, it's best to leave those air dry in plain sight so you know they are good, clean and dry before putting them away!. Meanwhile, try to relax!. Your son is about to discover all sorts of tasty things that you would prefer he didn't!. Mine discovered cat kibble at that same age, and ate a grasshopper the same cat brought her as a present!. She survived and so did I, and so will you and your son!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You're a Mom!. Live by this rule: When in doubt!.!. call your doctor!!

He may need to run some tests!. There are quick easy remedies for worms!.

Also, get yourself a box of disposable, non powdered gloves!. You can get them in just about any pharmacy or drug store!. Fire your Mom from handling anything that goes down your babies throat!. Love her!.!. but let her relax and get off her feet! And then every time you handle those nipples, put your gloves on!. Pretend you're working in a professional kitchen!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think you can relax!. Watch him for any signs or symptoms and in the future have a container that can be washed in a disinfectant and just continue to be as clean as possible!.
I wish you, your mother, and your son well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You might want to take him to the doctor and explain the situation and see what they have to say!. Or see if he seems sick or feverish in ANY way, then seek help immediately!. Heres to his health!.!.!. *<:o)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Probably will be fine!. I don't think he could get worms, the black stuff was probably mold!. If you're worried take him to a doctor so you'll have peace of mind!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think he should be fine but if you need more of a ease of mind take him to the Dr!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Take him to the Dr

Never hurts to get an infant checked out, anywayWww@Answer-Health@Com

Those "worms" wre more than likely maggots!. The black was likely mold!. If you saw nothing on the nipples, than chances are the nipples are fine!. In the future, maybe keep those things in something that is open to air, or at the very least make sure they are completely dry before going into the container!. I wouldn't rush the child to the doctor, but I would call and ask to speak to a nurse, explain the situation, and see what they think!. Relax, calm down!. We all have our own story of "omg I cant believe I did this to my child!." Mine involved a package of diapers that I found small beatles in after using half the package!. Ick!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
