Is it bad for you to frequently wake up with a dead arm?!
Question: Is it bad for you to frequently wake up with a dead arm?
By dead arm I mean my entire arm, from the fingers all the way up to the shoulder has absolutely no feeling, and I can't move it whatsoever. This lasts for several seconds before feeling returns. This happens a lot to me and it freaks me out every time. I'm just afraid that this may be causing some permanent damage over time, especially since I'm certain that when this happens I've been sleeping on the arm for hours before noticing it had died.

Don't worry, your organism is a cool analytical machine as soon as something bothers you, it wakes you up. For this reason it wakes you all the time when you numb your arm. But you have to think about your composure. Arms getting numb in a nervous term.
