Is the phrase "anything will give you cancer" a cop-out for irresponsi!

Not EVERYTHING will cause cancer, but taking everything is poisonous if ingested in large enough quantities (even water and oxygen). If someone is doing something dangerous, but it's not affecting anyone else (smoking, for instance, does affect other people), let him or her do it. They'll be the ones experiencing the results...
