I have a couple of things to say:

1) Unless you're on probation, AND the conditions of probation require you submit to a DRUG test, then there is no need to worry about legal repurcussions, as far as I can se.

2) Since you are 16 years old [I am assuming you are NOT an emancipated minor], I would HIGHLY doubt that the doctor would be doing a drug test.

3) Yes, they COULD also be doing a drug test, and YES, weed (marijuana COULD show up--but if you abstained for 23 days, it's hard to tell. It depends on your body, what type of test, how regular of a smoker you are.

4) As a minor, your parents could get acccess to the results of the test, and if there was a drug test involved, your parents/legal guardian(s) could get access to your medical records, including the results of the test. Even if you were on probation with mandatory drug-testing, your parents COULD release this to your probation officer, and your probation officer might not be happy, and could very likely decide to monitor you more closely (e.g. decide to drug test you more often---this decision could be based on many factors--the nature of your offense, compliance with other terms of your probation, etc.

5) I suppose the doctor does not HAVE to tell you if s/he is doing a drug test. I think it would against ethical code, though--and highly unprofessional--to say they are doing a diabetes test AND never do any diabetes-related urinalysis. However, in reality, your doctor COULD get away with it--even though it would be unethical/unprofessional/even illegal.

6) If you ask your doctor is s/he is testing you for drugs; and/or marijuana specifically, I believe some states give you the right to refuse--even if you are a minor. Your doctor, however, does not have to inform you of your right to refuse=--your doctor probably can legally--and regardless of the law--get away with--insisting that it is mandatory. In such a case, you would have to keep insisting on refusing, and the doctor could inform your parent(s) of your refusal

7) If you refuse, I have heard of (only on some Yahoo! Answers--cannot be assured completely) of some cases in which parents have gotten a court order. Again, you won't face criminal charges, but your parents could see the results. If you're on probation (see above), then your probation officer might not be too happy---especially if there is any report of reasonable suspicion (e.g. teacher or school principal reports smelling weed on your breath, or multiple reports from students suspecting your possession of weed at school--even if not proven--but such factors, combined with positive drug test, would look unfavorable to a probation officer if you are on probation for anything--especially a drug offense, and especially an offense with mandatory drug testing of any type (saliva or urine testing--refer to previous answer). Claiming a "shy bladder" doesn't help---any doctor can prescribe or administer a temporary diuretic ("water pill") for this purpose if this issue is pressed.

8) Personally, unless your parents suspect you or have been accusing you of using drugs, I would not ask your doctor (this would arouse suspicion) or do anything suggestive of drug use and/or abuse. If you are that concerned, abstain from the weed (which you should be doing anyways) before your test, go ahead to your appointment--don't give any specific reason to alert your parents or doctor that you are or have been using drugs (assuming you haven't)--and just be cooperative.
If you really feel a psychological and/or psychological dependence or addiction to "weed" (marijuana)---or other substances---whether it/they are affecting your life or you feel you cannot stop using them---then that is a separate issue that you should address--if it does come up on your urine screen and your parents find out and are angry--tell them you feel you can't stop and this is an issue that needs to be addressed. Tell them that you understand they're disappointment and frustration and tell them that they need to work with you in a realistic manner to help you address problem. Regardless of the urine test detection, you should you address the "substance abuse" issue as a separate issue.
Good luck.

They MAY or may NOT be testing for THC. i Learned this because i used to smoke weed during football, basketball and baseball in high school. For every sport i had to get a physical, as well as a urine test. They NEVER mentioned anything about marijuana in my system. Maybe because they weren't testing for it, or because it just didn't matter since i was healthy enough to play. If they do test for it (which i doubt) they will not say anything to your parents. trust me, my mom took me to every physical since i was 15 and smoking weed. LOL.

personal experience

yes, the weed will show up. the thc in it is bad 'n such. drink tons and tons of water, if you fail the drug test you'll get into deep deep trouble and probably get sent to jail... sorry lol.

Normal urine tests given at the doctors office are not drug tests. If for some reason they were to drug test you there is nothing they could do with it.

Yes it will show up but there is nothing they can do unless you are on probation besides that your fine

dude chiill you will be ok
