How can i get rid of mucus on my throat?!

Question: How can i get rid of mucus on my throat?
Its dead annoying, if i cough, none of it comes up, what can i do?

Answers:

I have that same problem"( Try drinking hot liquids, like hot tea, or hot cocoa, soup is good too.

Purchase Mucinex over the counter is good also, it will loosen up the mucus.

I would eat hot things like soup, the steam helps clear out your nose, you just hafta blow it! I'm not trying to stereotype guys, but every single one that I know does not believe in using a tissue, instead they just keep snorting the boogers/mucus right back to their throats.
Cough drops also work, I'd recommend "Halls" They do the best clearing. Vicks tissues are awesome too lol.
But as long as you don't just lay around all day, and you keep your body on the move, it breaks the mucus up in your chest, and helps you get better quicker. Yeah they say rest is best, but for some things, it's not at all, it's so much better to keep your body active.
& Try to avoid milk as best you can.

This is going to sound weird, and I am new on here, however, I hold quite a title on the myyearbook advice forums

THIS WORKS (I have done it many times

Its sounds unpleasant, but very worth it.

Mix Salt, Garlic, and Vinegar and Tabasco sauce into Hot water (don't burn your self..kind of the temperature of soup or hot chocolate)

(You could even make a soup with these things in it.

anyhow. Drink as much as you can of this. If you can't really stomach it, then drink a little bit and then gargle the rest as deeply into your throat as you can manage.

After that Gargle either mouth wash (deeply) or hydrogen peroxide (most ppl do no know it is used for such purposes)

Then start hacking it up and spit it into the sink. (it will be possible by this time)

Then drink a glass of cold water.

The first mix makes all the stuff loosen up so you can get it out easier

The second step kills the bacteria

The glass of water after will be obvious.

Hope you try this. Its fast and works every time for me.

Experience.
