Low and high high pulse rates?!
Question: Low and high high pulse rates?
When not severely affected by external stimuli I can mostly control both pulse and blood pressure as I have done in several studies.
How low a pulse is too low?
How high, too high?
In other words, when does pulse become dangerous?
I had just meditated and my readings approx. 30 minutes afterward were
systolic 106 diastolic 61 pulse 57
which I assume to be normal considering the circumstance.

The semi-official answer is that about 60 to about 100 is considered to be the normal range for a pulse. However, everybody is different. Athletes tend to run lower than normal, even below 60, simply because their hearts are in such excellent condition, they don't need to beat as often to pump the same amount of blood.
I'm a nursing student, and the lowest I've ever seen anyone's heart rate is in the mid-forties; they were waiting to get a pacemaker implanted to get their heart rate back up to a normal rate. Frankly, if you are actually swinging that dramatically, that doesn't seem very normal to me. I would suggest that you ask someone else to double check, as I'm assuming you're taking your pulse yourself. If you still appear to be going from very low to very high (as both numbers you indicated are extremes), then you should probably see a doctor.
That said, the last blood pressure and pulse you gave were pretty much perfect for someone young and in good physical shape who was at rest.
