I have what feels like a painful lump on the inside of the bottom of my foot. Wh!
Question: I have what feels like a painful lump on the inside of the bottom of my foot. What could it be ?
Answers:
Ummm - might be a bursa - a little gland like thing which lubricates a joint. It's infected - it's inflamed. Maybe.
Get somebody to rub it good for you - or find a corner of a step and grind it gently on that. Might help. Another thing to do is get a foot bath full of ice water - soak your foot in there until you can't stand it - and then plunge it into pretty hot water - but be careful it isn't hot enough to burn you. You won't be able to tell how hot it is after it's bee in the ice water.
Going back and forth a few times between ice and hot can loosen those things up - and then grind it gently on the corner of a step.
Well, I've had the same thing but on the front part of the bottom of my foot. I went to the clinic and got an x-ray to see what was wrong. It was a Bursitis. Google it for more information but from what you've said it seems you have that too! Just take some extra-strength pain reliever medicine and try not to walk on it so much. It will go away with time. :)
Myself.

My guess would be a bone spur, but thats all it is, a guess. You need to see your doctor to get a correct diagnosis. I have a bone spur and they can be quite painful. I hope this helps.
