does hyperventalating really make you faint?!


Question: Does hyperventalating really make you faint?
okay, so when i get really nervous i tend to break down and start breathing really hard and long like crazy. it always makes me really lightheaded and makes my hands go numb and makes me really cold. however, i have heard tht you would actually faint from hyperventalating. is this really true? it has never happened to me.

Yes, if done long enough it could make you faint.
