Problems from SMOKING Marijuana?!?!

Question: Problems from SMOKING Marijuana?!?
Does it really kill brain cells, does it effect your weight, can it cause lung cancer, does it affect your reproductive system, and does it affect your hormones? I'm 16, so these are the things I'm worried about the most...

AND PLEASE! I don't want to hear any crap about how it should be legalized, or how it shouldn't be allowed. Whether its legal or not, doesn't matter to me, I'm young and concerned about my health.

Well it's a drug and all drugs can have potential to lead to health risks and dependency especially in teenaged bodies that have not fully matured.
MEMORY
Problems with memory and learning, distorted perception (sights, sounds, time, touch), trouble with thinking and problem solving, loss of motor coordination, increased heart rate, and anxiety. A user may also experience dry mouth and throat.
LUNGS
Studies have shown that a single marijuana joint can cause more damage than 2.5 to five cigarettes and result in chronic bronchitis and airflow obstruction. The increased damage may be explained, in part, by the different characteristics of the cannabis joint and the way it is smoked. Cannabis is usually smoked without a filter and to a shorter butt length, while the smoke temperature is higher. Cannabis smokers typically inhale more deeply and hold their breath longer.
HORMONES/REPRODUCTIVE
Regular use can delay the onset of puberty in young men and reduce sperm production. For women, regular use may disrupt normal monthly menstrual cycles and inhibit ovulation. When pregnant women use marijuana, they run the risk of having smaller babies with lower birth weights, who are more likely than other babies to develop health problems. Some studies have also found indications of developmental delays in children exposed to marijuana before birth.

That being said look up some of the risks of alcohol as well... Using any drug has its side effects.

smoke CAN kill brain cells, so can lightly hitting your head (they quickly regenerate) no weight effects (besides munchies) no reported marijuana smoker only lung cancer patients, yes positively (for males at least idk about females) i haven't read anything about marijuana effecting hormones.

fun fact
THC can work to attack dead cells and dispose of them which lessens the likeliness of cancer

fun fact
tobacco lung cancer 85% of the time is cause by radioactive fertilizer

EDIT: @ME ME: this is very untrue, reminds me of christian science in a way, its utterly retarded and made to fit a conclusion instead of to create a conclusion like real science does. The intent of that was to scare people, theres is no random circle in your brain that opens up. Agonizing of cannabanoid receptors can cause damage to short term memory while on the drug though

No substances in cannibis have been proven to cause cancer.
It doesn't kill brain cells it actually stimulates brain cell activity.
It effects your hormones by makin you very chill at least in my case.
Only the food you eat after smoking will increase your weight.
Im actually not sure if it can effect your reproduction system but men have been going sterile for the last hundreds of years so its all the weeds fault.

I was in rehab and went to an addiction specialist for years what I was explained about that drug was there is a piece in your brain that is in the shape of a c from birth till you are about 5 which is your short term memory. Once your about 5 it closes to form a circle. That is what makes your short term memory work. When you smoke pot that circle opens back up and it kills your short term memory. The circle will never close again. Pot is the only drug that effects your memory. Later on in life you will enter a room and not know why you are there, it's very nerve raking. Short term memory is important. Good Luck, hope this helps.

No, it doesn't kill brain cells (unlike alcohol), the only way it affects your weight is if you give in to the munchies too often, it doesn't cause lung cancer, and none of the studies I've seen refer to damage to the reproductive system or hormones.

doesn't really do much, its just an organic plant which the main compound is THC that affects your brain cells OVERTIME. but ehh i've done it before it's whatever just don't become an addict of it... truthfully it's too expensive anyways.

If you are so concerned about your health STOP DOING IT!!

i think than it really can kill brain cells, so stop using that ****
