Too much coffee = dehydration?!

Question:

Too much coffee = dehydration?

Everyday, to start off my morning, I have a large bowl (yes, like a cafe au lait bowl) of coffee with milk. Sometimes, I'll have two or three. (This might result in 4-6 cups of filter coffee)
Before, during, or after, I get a head-ache. It's a very mixed-up headache, like I've been swimming laps or been spinning myself round and round for 15minutes. I keep thinking that maybe it's my body wanting more coffee, so I'll have a bit more.
But now, bing! I've been thinking it might be my body getting dehydrated from all the coffee and not much water.
Could that be it? If so, can drinking a lot of water fix it?

Answers:

Yes, it can dehydrate you, but probably what is happening is you having a caffine headace for excessive amounts of coffee. You need to drink more water and awhole lot less coffee.
