Could this have a very bad lasting effect on my body?!
Question:
Could this have a very bad lasting effect on my body?
when i was young, like up 2 the age of 11 i had a perfectly healthy diet. i was a small slightly chubby energetic boy.
then when i was 12 we had some serious family problems which i wont go into. but it meant my mom couldn't look after me properly. so i wasn't eating properly. i basically didn't eat much at all until i was 17. when i tunned 17 i was about 7.8 stone!! but i was also an extremely active teenager. i pretty much spent 16 hours a day non stop running, mountain biking, skating, swimming etc, and i was also a taekwando extremist. so i was very, very fit. and very very spotty. :-)
now im 20 and for the past 2 years i have been eating bout 7 fruits a day and about 5 veg, i eat fish every other day... basically i eat very healthily. im also still very active.
my question is, do you think all that exercise and no nutrition could have a very lasting effect on my body. it was a 5 year period of not getting any of the things my body needed and putting it through allot of stress.

the reason i ask is because i think the ages between 12 and 17 are like the most important time for your body.. you grow more in that time than pretty much any other and i think it could have effected the growth of much of my body.
i think its the worst time in your life to be under nutritioned
