Trauma causing infertility?!

Question:

Trauma causing infertility?

i started reading about men being infertile. the only thing that worried me was the trauma part, how it says trauma can cause it. over my years of playing baseball with a tennis ball with buddies, i've been hit in the *nuts* quite a few times. this worried me. but i heard that "a trauma patient is someone who has suffered serious and life-threatening physical injury potentially resulting in secondary complications such as shock, respiratory failure and death." do i have anything to worry about and if so, can it be fixed with medical help these days? thanks. i keep looking at tom cruise's baby and i want one haha : P

Answers:

You shouldn't be worried about getting hit in the nuts. It happens to a lot of guys...I think to all guys. And, just like you, it happens quite a few times to a lot of guys. I think this CAN cause infertility, but it's very unlikely. I think the "trauma" they're referring to is more serious than a tennis ball. Probably things like major accidents, falls, and car wrecks and stuff. I wouldn't be worried. If you want, you can talk to your doctor about a fertility test.
