Benefits / Downsides to packing a bowl of weed?
Okay so I just started smoking, and I've always been told "pack a nug at the bottom of the pipe so you don't get a mouth full of ash crap", but what's the up-sides to packing a LOT of weed, & what are the downsides to only sticking in a pinky-nail sized nug & smoking it???

I don't like to put in a whole nug because it won't burn correctly. It needs to be broken up... Don't mind getting a little ash in your mouth it's just part of getting high! Breaking up the weed is kind of a sacred part of smoking, like, the preparation for the ritual...I hate it when people just throw in a whole nug and fail to make sure that it will smoke correctly and evenly...
