Answers:

A fever indicates a rise in white blood cells, which happens to fight off whatever is attacking your system. If your asymptomatic, it could be a virus or something with your lymphatic system going awry. I would go to the doctor in the morning, or at least call one. You should definitely have a blood test done. Any recent injuries with broken skin? Toothache or dental procedures? If there is bacteria in your bloodstream it can be serious and even life-threatening. It could be a simple gland problem or some virus your body keeps fighting off. Taking advil or tylenol lowers your fever but also lowers/suppresses your immune response and keeps your body from fighting off the intruder. When the advil wears off, up goes your fever again in another attempt to fight off whats in there. Your only perpetuating it. Please, see a doctor.
