Is my cigarette irritating my throat?

i have post nasal drip so my nose is runny and the mucus is in the back of my throat (hence the name), but yeah i havent had a cigarette since i had a cold (giving me post nasal drip) but today i had 2 cigarretes walking home. then after 10 minutes i felt like tickling irratating sensation in the back of my throat and im thinking it might've been from the smoke. does this happen?

Yes, smoke form cigarettes is so bad for you it will damage your mouth, nasal passage, esophagus, and lungs, your esophagus and nasal passage are probably very bare (no skin) and the mucus running down it would originally protect it but the smoke gets rid of the mucus and so new mucus is running down your nasal passage making a tingling sensation. It is ok. I suggest stop smoking but its just my opinion.
