I woke up and could not feel my legs ---what caused this?!
Question: another question go tme curious
but about 3 years ago
i was a dancer/stripper and of course in very high heels 8 hrs 3 or 4 days a week
i was drinking using cocaine regularly
it happened then on many mornings even when i had not used drugs for up to a few weeks, that when i woke up and put my feet on the floor i could not stand bc i could not feel my leg from the knee down and after about 4 minutes or so, i'd be fine
ever heard of this
btw-- it has been 3 years since i have done any of these things and i no longer have this problem

It sounds as if you may have some nerve damage - most likely to your back, not uncommon amongst dancers. The high heels add to it. I am a former dancer/instructor and danced in 2 plus inch heels - it takes a toll on your body.
Part could be position reducing circulation. More than likely it is a circulation problem and this is a warning. So go to a doctor and get checked out. Could be you have something and not be aware of it so inform the doc and see what he/she thinks.
It could be normal from the way you sleep on your arms or legs
or it could be poor circulation
other than that I would say see a doctor to see if it could be something else
