Sleep question?!

Answers: Is it true that if you get less sleep you feel more rested when you get up in the morning but then you feel really tired later in the day

it's true to a certain extent. When you get less sleep your energy is being used up to keep you awake and the process is being performed quickly. It's like there are limited sources (the amount of sleep you had was so little) and the sources are being used up so quickly. By the end of the day you're tired because your energy is pretty much used.

you will feel sleepy all day!!

well to me that has happened alot

yes

Depends on how often you do it. Sometimes I can get up after 4 hours of sleep no problem and go the whole day just fine. Sometimes I have a lot of difficulty waking up. It really depends on stress and a lot of physical factors.

It's true for some

i feel better on 3 to 4 hours of sleep and i run harder that day that is why i am more tired, if i sleep longer im tired all day

No. You generally are slow to start..gain a little momentum..and crash

depends when i get 3 hours of sleep, then go to school. i feel like i was hit by a car.
but when i get like 6 instead of 9 i feel fine until noon, then i am drained

to me no i like sleep at 10:30 and its hard for me to get up unless something exiting is going to happen

Everyone needs different sleep hours. I need about 10 hours every night. My brother in law does great with 5 hours. Everyone is different.

that sound about right. i am sure heard the phrase ( power nap )

Everyone is different but i'd say try to get 5 or 6 hours of sleep every night.

Yes: A 20 minute nap can rejuvenate you in the afternoon. If your schedule allows it. I do this sometimes and it kind of stretches the day into 2 days. I get a lot done in the morning, nap and get a lot done in the evening as opposed to sleeping late and trying to play catch up all day long. I find the day is not long enough that way and I'm beat at the end of the day.

Not for me, but everyone is different. A long nights sleep for me is 6 to 7 hours, and I only sleep that long because I take an ambien and a tylenol p.m.

no what happens is since you got less rest your body doesn't think you slept like any at all and when you get more rest your body has been relaxed longer so it is harder to get up

Hope it helps!

False

Lack of sleep can be the root of a lot of problems now and later.

Just try to get an ample amount that you can perform your duties throughout the day without crashing.

This happens to me all the time. I go to sleep late and wake up energized. But then at the end of the day im a little tired.
I really don't know why this happens. But i think it depends on what time you go to sleep and wake up. They say that you should get a least 8 hours of rest.

idk if it's true for all people, but it is for me.

That's been my experiance, i go to sleep at about 12-3 am, and wake up at five to go to school. I'm fine when i wake up, but then i nearly fall asleep in American History.
