What can I do to make my back and neck stop hurting?!
Question: I'm a dancer, and I stretched a lot a few nights ago during yoga but even before the class I had a back pain. I slept on the floor for a few nights too. This may be hte cause of it but I'm not sure. I put icy hot on it and it just made it burn really badly. Any suggestions I can do?

Try taking an NSAID such asMotrin, Advil, Aleve etc. And some heat should help. Don't sleep on the floor anymore as sleeping in weird positions can really do a number on your back. I think you should feel better in the next few days since it sounds like a pulled muscle esp. if you were doing yoga. If the pain continues go see a doctor and take it easy for a little while. I would definitely not sleep on the floor anymore. Try a hot shower or moist heat and massage if possible.
