Well the MOST effective - and lasting- remedy would be to go get a deep tissue massage. Followed by heat and increased water intake to flush the tissues.
Other than that-
moist heat with stretching- in a hot shower is a great place to stretch!
tiger balm or capsacin patch on the affected mm's.
Anything else would be just treating the symptoms- you need to get rid of the mm spasm / dysfunction which is causing the pain.
I suggest you see a good chiropractor ,I did and it really helped and it also gave me peace of mind.

Are you looking for pain relievers? You say natural remedies to relieve pain ... or things you can do to help yourself at home? First thing I'd do is go see a chiropractor. Next is I'd do the homework given (they will tell you how to stretch & maybe some exercises).
