Has anyone ever had or heard of a punctured lung from acupuncture?!
Question: I thought this had to be a hoax when i read it, but I did a little searching and found two articles in medical journals and one textbook on acupuncture which all state that punctured lungs are the most common injury from acupuncture. Other organs (liver, spleen, and even the heart and spinal cord ) have been punctured. See for yourself: goggle "acupuncture" and "pneumothorax"

No!
Not gonna happen. The needles are way too small.
Maybe if they were using eight inch nails and a hammer.
Possible but not likely.
The needles are very small and most practitioners are highly skilled. I have never heard of a pnuemothorax (punctured lung) caused by acupuncture. But it is most definately a possibility.

He must use some huge needles then and he must like it to be pushed in through muscle, fat and a rib cage.
I say BS on this one.
