Severe pain in the middle back?!

Question: I just had my son about 3 weeks ago, and a week ago I had severe pain in my mid back. It hurt so bad that it hurt to breathe. I went to the ER where they did CT scans (to check for possible things related to the birth) and found nothing... They gave me morphine to help control the pain and then sent me home with percocet, motrin, and valium to keep the pain under control for a few days until I could get into my regular doctor. I went to my regular doctor who just sent me home with motrin, tylenol and a muscle relaxer. It's not doing anything to help control my pain, and I feel worse off now. Any ideas on pain managment from this point?

I had my son 7 months ago and started having pain about a month or so after he was born. The dr.'s kept telling me the pain was normal, due to giving birth. 7 months later I am still getting the run around. My current dr. believes I have damage to my spine due to the epidural. I am trying to find an orthopedist, but they don't aparently accept self pay patients where I live. Gotta love our heath care system. First they made me feel like I was crazy for complaining about the pain and now that they know there is really something wrong, no one will treat me. I hope this doesn't happen to you!

If the MDs couldn't find anything specific, what about a chiropractic evaluation, if you believe in that form of care?

maybe try a heat treatment spray like deepheat

Hi, would you like to try my medication? I had severe back pain for several years and now I'm feeling okay. Let me know if you want to try it. 0905-4183390
