A few years back I went sleepwalking and fell down the stairs. 11 stitches to my eyebrow; it was my third eyebrow; I looked like spock!!! 7 days and they come out. Use macderma. works wonders. Just remember it takes about six months for a scar to heal. Its like a chameleon; some days it was bright red, other days it was a white line. Don't expose it to sun; it'l make it stick out even more while its still healing. Vitamin E is also great as well.

I think stitches usually come out in 10-14 days or whatever your doctor suggested. Keep neosporin on it until they come out. Then use a scar cream. go to www.drugstore.com and do a search. A lot of people rate the items and you can pick one.

Nice war wound!

I agree with the other post. Keep the stitches clean and covered up. In my experience, they usually suggest cleaning with peroxide and then applying some sort of anti-bacterial cream. Once the stitches come out, there are some OTC stitch creams that are supposed to help. If they are too expensive, my mom's doctor told her to use cocoa butter on her scar and it seemed to help. No matter how you do it, there will most likely be some sort of visible scar, even if it is very faint and hard to notice.

Hey, next time: duck!

neosporn and ask doctor

lol oopsy daisy.......alovera is always a good one to help it heal quicker...from the plant if u squeeze the leaves some gunky stuff will come out...rub that on ur wound....when i had a gash in the back of my head it actually stuck it back together and healed within a week ....good luck and be more careful hehe...
