Is it against human nature to be nocturnal?!
Question: I don't like being awake during the day and even when i am i still somehow end up staying awake all night just so i can sleep though the next day even when i've gotten only a few hours of sleep. Is that odd?

I think we're hardwired to be diurnal (occurring in the day), because daylight made it easier for cavemen and cave-women to hunt and gather, while they could hide from predators in the darkness of night. Plus, it's easier to sleep with the lights off.
nope, i work nite shift, 7pm to 730am......can\t imagine ever waking up early
I think it is not, but night sleep is a vitamin to the body. So be careful, though. Lack of sleep may make you dumb.
I personally don't think there is anything wrong with it. I am the same way recently again. I have a 6 yr old child who is at school all day now..so I guess I use my nocturnal side more now than I did when he was just a baby.
Sleeping when its dark out is shoved down our throats from birth, but when its dark where you are, its daylight somewhere else.
I say find a graveyard shift job and enjoy the night life.
I went through that kind of inversion when I was severely depressed, and I learned that it's often a feature of depression.
Are you feeling OK psychologically?
