Stabbing pain in my chest, then in my right side, whats the possible cause?!

Question: i know its a general question but here's all the details!

i was getting a stabbing pain in my chest, just off centre to the left, i went to the doc, the doc sent me for an x ray, them the pain went and appeared in my right side (arm and side of torso), then it moved to my chest again, and now its still there!

each time it moved from one place to another it stoped for a while, the pain is an infrequent stabbing, not a constant pain!

could it be stress
the results from the x ray will be back in a week, but i dont expect they will show anything

You've had this problem before, my dear...and it could be something serious. Have you told your folks about it?
It could be anxiety or stress...it could be acid reflux (no joke)...Pay attention to when and what you're eating and see if there's any connection. Do you work out, run or lift weights? You might have pulled or strained something. It could even be posture related. You seem to spend a lot of time at the computer, and who knows how much time at school. LISTEN to your body! When you have pain like that it's trying to tell you something.
Let us know!
Be well!!!

Ive woken up about an hour ago and so far so good, but if i begine to worry i bet it will come back! Report It

  • A week for x-rays....are you sure ? This maybe gall stones /gallbladder. or intestinal spasms.

could take a long time to diagnose if you cant give the doctor anything to pin point a reason....wait for xrays make new appoinments with your doc if pain still there and keep going back if its a prob until they can sort it...they will get to the bottom of it just be patient and honest
