Answers: I keep waking up between 2 and 4 every night?? How can I stop it from happening??

stop worring anout it as you will subconciously make it happen if you worry about it. Just carry on trying to get to sl;eep, make sure when you set out to sleep at 10 or 11 or whenever, that you eat enough food for the night, hunger can sometimes keep you up. Also make sure no loud noise/music.cars are keeping you awake or waking you up at this time.

Its liley to be something that is disturbing you if its dead on the same time every night/morning, but if it varies within the hours of 2-4 its either hunger, having drunk too much alcohol or water, or being too stressed. Either which way you need to deal with the cuase before you can expect a good nights sleep.

Turn your alarm off!

get some melatonin in a health food store or puritans pride

have yourself a few drinks and pop a couple sleeping pills

It just goes away.

go to sleep a bit later than normal say if you go to bed at 10:00 go to bed at 12:00 instead and you might wake up at 7:00 or 8:00 am

So you are 40 or so you do not need as much sleep as you did when younger either exercise way more or stay up till 11 or so if you go to bed at 9:30 you will wake up at 4:30 of course DUHHHHHHH. get a hobby stop sleeping so much . go bicycle riding exercise every day loose the couch it is normal deal with it learn to use it to your advantage .getting older only makes you better .

maybe you go to sleep to early? Try and go to bed an hour later. Exercise and avoid any kind of stimulants during the day. If you wake up during the night get a hot bath, some hot milk and go back to bed.
Do not turn on your PC as it will only keep you up and drive your sleepy mood away.
