I was lifting the wrong weights and i pulled some muscles in my right back side !

Question: Alternate 20 minutes of ice pack with then heat for the first 24-48 hours. Rest, and don't lift weights for about a week. Take nsaids, like ibuprofen to keep inflammation down, and for comfort. When you do start lifting again, avoid that area. You have to make sure you don't re-injure the same muscle. It can take a long time to heal--up to 6 weeks, so get ready to be patient. If you continue to feel pain, or do re-injure it, or there is redness or swelling, go to the doctor.

go get a massage

Icey Hot

Lay off the weights a week and massage the area you pulled, sounds as if you are lifting to much.

Rest. for a couple of days, apply ice packs, for 15 minutes, followed by warm moist heat to the muscles. Please be careful with the weights, this is the only body you have, and torture on it will bring problems later. I know. Take care.

have a warm bath then put a bag of frozen peas on it for 10 minutes. don't lift weights again till the pain is gone. do gentle stretches and gentle movements to keep your back moving.
