Upper back muscle hurts and feels sore?!

Question: My upper back muscle(s) hurt and feel sore, near my right back shoulder blade. It happened suddenly as I was sitting on my computer. I felt a pretty bad cramp as I was sitting with my hands in my lap, watching a video, moved my arm a little bit to try and make the cramp go away, and the pain slowly subsided.

A couple of hours later, as I make certain movements, like raising my right shoulder or straightening my back, the pain comes back. I decided to get on my massage chair to try and rub it out, no improvement.

What could have possibly happened? I do not have a history of back pain or spasms and this literally happened all of a sudden. I have no of stress and I haven't done anything lately to cause sore muscles.

Thank you for your time!
