My lips are very chapped--help?!

Question: I am on medication that makes my lips really chapped and dry. Even the skin around my lips in the corners is really dry and hurts, and cracks when I open my mouth too wide.
I have been using Carmex non-stop but have found no relief. I even pile on either Carmex or Vasaliene at night and nothing helps. My lips are always peeling and hurt so much.
Any suggestions? I am dying. Thank you.

Use Berts Bees, you can get these natural products at you local cvs, drug store, kmart might even carry this brand. Drink more water. Do not drink any diet products with Aspartame in them, It is toxic to the body.

If you are in a cold State and have the heat on in your home you can severely dry out if there is no moisture in the air. If you do not have a humidifier putting water into the air during these months put bowls of water in front of the heater vents. use skin care products that absorb into the skin. vasiline coats skin. no good ... good luck hope this helps

Drink lots of Water!!

Dry lips is a sign of dehydration. Drinking juice, soda, coffee other than water doesn't just cut it. So no matter how much vaseline or carmex you use it won't cure dry lips. So drink up!

Trying using Aquaphor healing ointment. The hospital gave that to my father for this lips when he was taking radiation for throat cancer. It worked wonderful for him . You can buy this at walmart without a script. Good luck

Continue to treat it and drink Juice, not the fake crap. Some medications tend to cause people to breath out of their mouths a lot and they dont even notice. So use your nose =D
