Blisters on fingers?!

Question: i work in a typical office. typing all day answering phone calls. In the last month i have been getting some blisters on the tips of my fingers. any idea what can cause this? Is it a allergic reaction to something? I have never had anything like it in the past. I know they are not warts because they go away like a blister. Any thoughts what is could be?

This may be a form of dermatitis and if it gets worse ofrdoesn't go away in the next few weeks have it looked at by a skin specialist.

In the meantime wash off the phone, key pad and receiver, you use and your key board with some warm water and dish soap on a wrung out rag then wipe again with plain water. it may be a reaction to some cleaning product the company cleaning service is using.

Wow! You must type a lot.

If your blister tears, rips, etc. you need to put antibiotic cream on it. If it's intact, leave it alone.

Allergic reactions do not come only on your fingers. Just in case, though, take rubbing alcohol and some cotton swabs and wipe the keys of your keyboard.

You're probably typing properly, and I'm not, but I don't use the tips of my fingers. I use the pads.

That is a crazy case! You're not doing anything at home--learning to play the guitar--cleaning with something caustic...
