I am having really bad cramps and ibuprofen doesn't work any suggestions?!
Question: Heat is great when you're at home but when you're out and about, unless you have those heat patches, there might be a small problem.
I live in the UK and here we have Feminax. It's a pain killer with small amounts of codeine and that works!! I suffer from sudden and ruthless cramps and I take this. I have also tried Paramol, which is pretty good too, and I use that as a back up.

try wrapping a heating pad around the place where it is cramping.. if u dont have one of those take a warm bath. Also, it hurts to exercise while cramping but most of the time it actually make u feel better.
Heat is good. If you have waited the allotted time and can take more medicine, try Midol or a quick release or some type of liqu-gel. Midol is intended for cramps and the other will get to work faster but may not take care of EVERY menstrual symptom. Stretching works for me too.
