Sore neck/back (following a small road accident) advice ?!
Question: Hi all,
I have a sore neck and back (down the middle about 1/4 of the way down)...
this happened after I was on a bus which reversed into a wall!
I was the only one on a back seat and was listening to my MP3 player and all of a sudden the bus while reversing mounted a pavement and knocked a brick wall down... the whole bus then jolted and it has someminor damage - ever since I have had a straining pain in my neck and back (obviousl just from the jerk motion on the bus)...
any advice on how I can relieve the pain ? should I see a doctor ?

You very likely have a vertebra out of place in your back and possibly in your neck. If it has been 24-48 hours since your injury, apply ice for 15-20 minutes then remove for 45 mins to an hour and re-apply. Take an anit-inflammatory (like Advil or Aleve) as directed on the box. If it has been over 48 hours, apply heat the same as ice above. It should be better in a few days. If not a chiropractor can set you "straight" again.
YES but right after that see a lawyer who specializes in personal injury. these individuals usually take these cases on a contingency fee basis. so it wont cost you a dime unless you win your case. if you win expect your lawyer to charge you 25 to 30 percent of your award. HOPE YOU WIN. YIPPI BOB
