Huge PAINFUL blood blister from freezing wart?!
Question: I had a tiny little wart on my right pinky finger and my dermatologist casually froze it with liquid nitrogen. He said a blister would develop, but did not elaborate on pain and size. Now, 2 days later, I have a plump dime size blueberry looking blood blister on my finger. It is extremely sensitive and juicy.....just absolutely horrific looking. There is no signs of infection, so I am not worried about that. But why the heck is it so big and so painful? I couldnt even sleep last niight and I can barely bend my finger. Does anyone have experience with this? I will call my dermatologist in the morning, but I would like some reassurance now. In addition, I have used epsom salt once and I took 800mg of advil this morning. What else can I do?

Yes, that's all normal. I've had several warts frozen and they always get like that. They are very painful. Cover it with a band aid if you hate looking at it. The pain will go away in a few days and there's not much you can take for it other than ibuprofen.
