What happened to my back?!?!

Question: Yesterday evening, i went to stand up out of bed and it felt like a knife was being twisted into my lower back, and in the mirror I saw that my pelvis is shifted about 2 inches to the right and popped back a little. So after awhile, i could hobble around, and decided to see if it would go away, sleep it off. Today, it still hurts and I am still shaped like the letter "C" with legs! Im 19, have no preexisting back problems, it was so random. What should i do? I have stuff to do. Oh, and i didnt do anything very strenuous either, so i dunno whats going on.

I just had a similar problem. It was the second time in 8 mos. It took like 5 days in bed and I am still sore. I had the hardest time getting out of bed or standing up from a chair.

I just used those heat packs and they helped. You are best off going to the doctor to ensure you don't cause more damage.

In my case my injury was most likely caused by playing 7 sets of tennis and being overly aggressive on my serve. Needless to say....I won't be playing tennis for at least 2 more weeks.

Call a chiropractor. I did my back in so bad once I had to pee in a bottle lying down, for a week!

Oh my! Try finding a local chiropractor and talk to them about it. You may have slept wrong and misaligned your back. Chiropractors work wonders, and should be able to get you fixed right up!

go to the doctor man.
maybe you have spinathyampicaritatist

Call the chiropractor! It really bad the way you're describing it!

In cases like this, always see your doctor. There's no reason to be in that much pain.

Lower back is central to a "lot of activity" (get the message)so don't mess around. Have an MRI done and see if you have a disc that has slipped in. I have been there and what you are experiencing can be dealt with if you find out exactly what is going on.
