Help Please!! Very Important!! Pain Doctors.?!

Question: My grandmother has had osteoporosis for over 20 years and has 5 fractures in her spine. She has been in a very severe pain in her lower back for the past year and its wearing her down to where she can't get out of bed. She has been to several doctors who never know what to do to help. I am desperate to find someone who can help her. I'm afraid if she doesn't get help soon she won't last for a longtime. Please if you have any advice or guidience please help me.

Sorry to hear about your Grandmother! I found a few articles that may have some info that can lead you in the right direction to get her some help....

I hope this helps!

Not sure where you live but search the web in your area for specialists...call ahead and explain your concerns and see who will treat her.

Good luck!

has she tried chiropractic? chiropractic is good with relief of pain because it solves health issues. and there are safe methods of chiropractic adjustments for the elderly and osteoporosis patients.

hope you look into it.

I am so very sorry for you and her! Look for Docs. in your area worst case E.R. I will say some prayers!! GL :(

I would go to Vitaglo.com and go to Kal vitamins or your local health food store and get Kal liquid calcium caps, they look large but you can put butter on them to get them down or just cut them and put them into milk, give it to her right before bed it will not only help her pain but help her sleep. I would get on the web and look for natural ways to help her, there are several ways, when I cant move, I have my hubby get a icepack for 15 min then a heat pad for 15 min and do this three times each and end with the icepack, also aloe vera always helps the pain but start slow, if you email me I can give you several of ways that has helped me and my sister who has severe arthritis in her body...rowdysunsetart@yahoo.com....also make sure she is getting enough water which lubricates the joints. And of course..Prayer always works if you believe it. Hope it helps.
