Cell phones and carpo tunnel?!
Question: Do you think that as much as people are texting these days, there will start to be a rise in carpo tunnel cases. If so, do you think that insurance companies will try to blame carpo tunnel on texting instead of classifying it as a work related injury?

unsure. many pregnant women get carpal tunnel without it being work related so I guess you could argue that it is not purely due to work or texting. (but yes I do believe that texting and repetitive use of console controls is causing an increase as is computer use at work & school)
It's carpal tunnel
Probably just to avoid payments to the injured.
That what happen to myself back in 1982 when PG&E terminated myself just to avoid permanent disability from Muscular Skeletal Disorder which fall under carpel tunnel
