ibuprofen and massage with heat
massage with ibuprofen gel

Glucosamine sulphate is known to help arthritis sufferers. Also heat alleviates the symptoms.

ibuprofen, or buffered aspirin for the inflammation. also icy hot gel.
get wrist supports to keep your hands stable when you type.
go to Dr's to find out if this is arthritis because if it is not you could be doing more bad than good with home remedies
Ben Gay, like other muscle-ache and arthritis rubs, provides relief by acting as a counterirritant. It produces a mild local inflammation that crowds out pain messages from nearby muscles and joints. Arthritis rubs also create heat by increasing blood flow to the area; because of the risk of a burn, they should never be used together with a heating pad. And good luck.
If it is a straight forward wear and tear process you may be able to reduce the symptoms with either simple analgesics or NSAIDS such as ibuprofen plus appropriate exercises. There are however a number of more complex arthitides, both sero- positive and negative, that need more specialised management.
You need to be diagnosed...cause some overuse injuries can cause your symptoms and ice is treatment...but ice is not good for arthritis
