Numbness in hands?!
Question: Numbness in hands!?
I have tingling and numbness in my pinkie and ring finger and the left side of my left hand!.!.!. It has been like this for about 3 weeks now!.!. I experience no pain with it and my dominant hand is my right, so I don't think it's carpal tunnel!.!.!. Any other ideas of what could be causing this!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are probably correct about it NOT being carpal tunnel syndrome!. I have CTS and my docs have told me that CTS usually does not affect the pinky or ring finger!. It most often causes numbness and pain in the thumb, first and middle fingers and wrist!. Certain other conditions can cause what you are describing!. Disc problems in the upper part of the back (cervical discs) often can cause pan, numbness, or weakness of hands and arms!.
I have been diagnosed with CTS *and* Degenerative Disc Disease which is affecting discs C3-C7!.

Two things I can think of off the top of my head!. One is that you are not drinking enough water and the second thing is that you might be deficient in B vitamins!. Either way, you need to see your doctor just to make sure nothing more serious is going on in the hand!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
