Requires Direct Answer No Opinion: Intramuscular Needles?!

Question: Requires Direct Answer No Opinion: Intramuscular Needles!?
Hi!. So I'm an MtF (male-to-female) transsexual trying to do what we transgendered women do!. I don't want to hear any opinions or philosophies on the matter!. Simply concrete answers of "yes, this is what you need to do" will suffice!. Anything answers not like this should be omitted from this question alotogether!.

Now then, I have 10 Mg of Estradiol Valerate and a 10 CC syringe!. The needle itself seems a little large to me, so I need to know how to make due!. The needle is described as 18G(gauge!?) 1 1/2!. I think this describes the thickness and length of the thing!.

My question for you then is: how far do I need to stick the needle!? Is this too long!? And do I need to stick it in all the way!? As a reminder to the question title, this is an Intramuscular needle requiring me to shoot it in the hip or somewhere in that vicinity!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
10mg is a VERY large dose of EV, and an 18g x 1!.5 needle is WAY too big for an IM injection!.

Have you discussed this with your doctor!? He or she should have demonstrated and explained to you the procedure for intramuscular injection!.

If you're trying to do this without medical supervision, you are (a) going to injure yourself with that needle, and (b) playing Russian roulette; unsupervised hormone therapy can, and does, KILL!.

PLEASE talk to your doctor about this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just pinch up some flesh mid thigh and bang it in about half way !. Get you MD to do a demo!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would use 20-22 gauge, and yes, 1!.5" is good for the hip!. I tried 1" before in the hip, and the solution didn't stay!. You would place the needle all the way into your hip in the upper-outer quadrant (to avoid hitting the sciatic nerve)!. You can try drawing out before injecting to check for bleeding!. You generally don't need larger than a 3cc syringe, but that depends on the concentration!. If your solution is 10mg/ml, then that means that each CC delivers 10 mg!. 20mg twice a month is a good starting point!. If in doubt, see your doctor!. If you do not have a doctor, then you are playing with fire!.

Despite a previous answer, the usual dosage of IM estradiol given by a doctor is 40-80 mg/month, and I have seen such prescriptions!. The IM solution is time release and is given once every 10-14 days!. 10mg is way too little to last 10-14 days!. The hip can only hold about 2 cc or so, so it means you have to have the correct concentration!.

Which are you, transsexual (mainstream woman with a mere birth defect who needs surgery), or transgender (type of male queer who dresses as a woman and doesn't need surgery)!? Please do not use the terms interchangebly as that is offensive (mainly to TSs, TGs tend not to care that their labels harm others)!. TS and TG is not the same thing despite what LGBTs with agendas often say!. I am a TS who is proudly not a part of the TG nor the LGBT, and it offends me to be lumped with such persons!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
