Redressing a stitched wound?!
Question: Redressing a stitched wound!?
I just wanted to know how often I should redress my stitched wound!.
My leg(above my ancle and more in front of my leg) was cut with glass on Saturday night!.
I went to hospital and they cleaned and dressed it!. On sunday night I was bathing (with my foot out of water) and accidentaly put my leg in!. I took it out quickly and redressed the wound with gauze and betadine the nurse had given me and a bandage!.
Should I change it again tonight (Monday) or just leave it for a while!.
Also is it sore to have the stitches removed and will I need another anaesthetic shot!? Coz those were really really sore!!

Yes, clean it and redress it with the betadine and gauze each day so you do not get infection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
