my husband had the same prob and they gave him a cortisone (steroid) shot in his knee!. he said it did hurt thou, but he does not have a high tolerance for pain for what that is worth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
No, he will clean it out with a suction device and a small tube to reduce the amount of grit between the cartilage, if it is really bad and you have no cartilage then you can get gel injections but these are only temporary!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
