I think as a mother you're probably going to get a bit protective and paranoid about your baby!.

You're absolutely right about being mad about your mother-in-law but I'd try to take a moment to step aside and calm down!. Just do what the doctors say!. If they say there's nothing wrong I'd trust them!. Just make sure he's acting normal like the doctors say!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't worry so much!. Your child will be fine!. Worse things happened to me when i was a baby and I turned out better than normal!. If there are no permanent damage symptoms, he will be fine!. The swelling might be a few days, but overall your child will be fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the only thing i can say is im sure he's fine!. thats still really scary!. babies bruise easy but if he's acting ok and the doctores say he's ok then im sure he's fine!. just give him love!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

n yes--congrats--since ur havin a baby girl!!u wanted a girl urself too i guess!.

dont worry -ur baby will b ok!.if d doctor sez he's fi9 then he shud b fi9!.m sure ur baby is doing good now!.hoping 4 an early recovery!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You did the right thing by taking him to the ER!. If the doctors checked him out and said he's alright, I wouldn't worry too much!. The bruising and swelling will go away!. Your husband has no right to be mad at you!. I'm a husband and father of a six week old girl myself and there's no way he should be upset with you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Wow !! What a nightmare, I couldn't help but to respond to this although I usually will stay away from these types of questions as they are way beyond me being able to provide any worthy info, but my god, what a nightmare, count your blessings tonight my friend because things certainly could have ended up a lot worse!. I think it's important in a situation like this to try to keep in mind that it was an accident and I'm sure it wasn't intentional!. This may take some work on your part but I'm afraid you're future relationship with your new mother in law is now completely dependent upon it, and I can only imagine the pressure that's on your husband right now!.
Try to embrace what's the most important and say an extra long prayer tonight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

what kind of tests did they take at the ER!?!? in most cases kids who are acting normal are ok!. the swelling will go down in a few days as will the bruise!. Every one makes mistakes just make sure your mother in law knows your expectations as far as calling you when something happens!. if you still have concerns take him back to hospital for further check up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
