I'm not sure about legs but underarms I do know!. Actually it's not that bad & it really depends on your hormones!. This is based on personal experience!. I'm a fan of waxing & only started to do brazilian waxing a year ago!. When I first started out with underarm, it was not that bad, around 4 or so on the pain scale!. Once I get the hang of it, I felt really nothing when I see my therapist for my underarm waxing!. As for legs, I normally shave but I do have a crazy time when I spent 2 hours using an eyebrow tweezer to tweeze off all the hair that's growing on my leg!. But based on my brazilian experience, if you're so hype up about whether how painful it is, I can say that you won't feel most of the pain as your adrenaline would have zap out all the pain!. Can't really put a pain scale to determine how painful it is coz we all are individuals & we feel pain differently!. My pain threshold might be better than you thus I cannot put a fix pain number on how painful it is!. If you want to do it, just do it!. Have fun at trying it!. Cheers! :DWww@Answer-Health@Com

Cold waxing tends to be more painful than a hot wax, it also varies by the astringents and numbing agents used!.
The first time for me was a solid 9 on the legs but either the numbing agents got better or I became more accustomed to the procedure!.
Under the arms was a 4-
keep in mind in addition to the hair follicle they are also removing skin- so it is not comfortable!.
The average hair cycle is 4 to 6 weeks so though the results last longer than shaving- it is a step that has to be repeated!.
If you can afford laser hair removal- consider it

Pain is relative, it's a perception!. If you've never experienced severe pain your 10 is someone elses 3!. Read this board for a few days and you'll understand!. You'll see everything from:

Depends on your tolerance for pain!. I noticed after the second time waxing that it did not hurt as much!. It was an 8 for me the first time and like a 3 for me after that!. Now, it does not bother me at all!. You might experience redness and swelling and will want to put on a cream afterwards and after showering for the next week or so!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Depends on how its done I use a cream before my shower!.
