How do I talk to my parents? Very urgent.?!

Question: How do I talk to my parents!? Very urgent!.!?
I've been bulimic for about a year and a half, and it's really starting to take its toll--I'm constantly weak, dizzy, cold, and dehydrated!. I've developed callouses on my knuckles and my throat is always sore (and often bleeds)!. I can't stop purging (I don't binge beforehand; I purge after eating anything, even what would be normally considered small amounts)!. I don't look unusually thin!. I'm 5'6" and weigh 115-120!. I can't live like this anymore but I've tried unsuccessfully to quit!. It's like an addiction!. I want to tell my parents but I'm afraid of what will happen, and we don't have enough money for any sort of therapy right now!. Is there anything I can do about it!? Please, this is such a burden right now!. Thank you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hang in there! If you don't think you can talk to them both at once, talk to one parent first, or talk to another adult and ask if they would be willing to support you if you talk to your parents!.
I am attaching a link for the Rader Institute, which offers a free consultation!. Also, if your family has medical insurance, it may help cover the cost of treatment!. Lastly, your parents can look in the phone book for your county's mental health adviser!. They often base the cost of treatment on what you can afford!.

The bottom line is that you are more valuable than anything, so you are worth anything to save!. I hope you find help and I wish you the best and brightest future!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh wow!. First of all, I feel for you!. When I was very young, I had an eating disorder!. I could not physically bring myself to eat!. Normal people don't understand things like this sometimes!. Set your parents down and tell them!. The worst that can happen is way better than what will happen if you continue purging!. Your family loves you, and wants you to be healthy!. Tell them your situation first, then worry about therapy!. The only other options are dying, or eating!.

Good luck!.

You're tough, you can do it!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hey first off you it's a good thing that your recognize the dangers of being bulimic!. Your parents may be made that you were harming your body but that's the worst of it!. What is more important your long term health!? or being yelled at by your parents!? they can only yell for so long (they do breath air) so tell them and continue on the road to good health!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Perhaps you should find something more constructive and productive to do than this constant self destructing bingeing!.

If you must binge, perhaps you could try bingeing on fruit!. It helps to fill you up and is low in calories!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your parents will not be mad, they will be happy that you came to them before this disease kills you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

First of all, good for you that are asking for help! u should not be afraid to tell your parents, cause your disoder is very seious and can lead to death!. you should have both your parents with you when you tell them!. And when you do just say it strait up, that you are suffering from bulimia!. they should not be upset what so ever,,, if they know anything about,, what bulimia is!. I have a friend who was in the exact same situation that you are in!. I told her the same thing i am telling you, but she was still afraid!. so she talk to her psychology professor on how to talk to her parent!. so if you are a college student i would find a psychology teacher and talk!. if not talk to your doctor about it!.!.!.!.!.!. I WISH YOU ALL THE LUCK !!! AND A GOOD RECOVERY!!!!!!!!!!!! dont be afraid,,, it is NOT your fault!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
